Deric Ó h’Artagáin (35) is part of the Ireland AM on-air team with the TV3 Television Network. From coverage of the floods to the national ploughing championships, he has travelled the length & breath of the country covering events of national interest. From a farming background in Co.Limerick, Deric is a regular on Irish TV and radio having recently produced and presented his first documentary in Calcutta, India titled ‘The Real Slum Dogs; Journey of Hope’.

A keen sports, travel and outdoor enthusiast, Deric is heavily involved in triathlons and adventure racing across Ireland, the UK and Europe. Having recently completed his first Ironman 70.3 in Dublin; he aims to take on the Durban Ironman in South Africa in 2017. He recently won Outsider Magazine’s 2017 ‘Celebrity Adventurer of the Year’.

Deric has a very dynamic and interactive social media platform, with a loyal following due to his vast array of hobbies and interests. From Twitter to Snapchat and Facebook to Instagram; he has a combined online reach of over 1.5 million reach per month.
