Television and radio presenter, Eoghan McDermott is becoming one of Ireland’s rising stars. Eoghan completed his dance training in the world-renowned Broadway Dance Center. He has performed all over the world, supporting some of the world’s biggest music acts including Rhianna. He played the lead role of ‘DJ Pete’ in the popular TG4/BBC NI teen drama, ‘Seacht’ (Stirling Productions) for which he received rave reviews.

Eoghan has now established himself as a television presenter. Back in 2008, MTV named him one of the top two presenting talents for the future. He spent a very successful two year period presenting the hugely popular ‘drive-time’ slot with top London radio station XFM. Eoghan was nominated for Best Newcomer in the UK at the Arqiva National Radio Awards.

Presenting credits to-date include Electric Picnic (RTE), The Script Live at Croke Park and music specials with Ed Sheeran.

In 2011, Eoghan became a household name co-presenting ‘The Voice’ (Ireland) alongside Kathryn Thomas. In 2013 Eoghan made his UK television presenting debut with the Channel 5 show, ‘Celebrity Super Spa’. Eoghan ended 2013 with a bang, presenting two of RTE’s most watched festive season shows, ‘Totes Amazeballs’ and ‘Next Year’s News’.

Eoghan has been the face of Seachtain na Gaeilge and recently compiled the hit Irish language album CEOL 2016 for 2FM.
